How many balls of Cottontots did you use?

2 skeins, but you'll need less than half of the second one. sorry about leaving that out!

I'm beginning to do the finishing work for this pattern. I used Cottontots and size 8 needles and it turned out great. Instead of knitting for Row 4 of the Feather and Fan pattern, I opted to purl instead for a smoother right side.

My question is, how far in did you sew the shoulder seams before turning the front panels out into the collar?

Thank you kindly.

good question and i'm not exactly sure. i probably left just a bit more than a third of the width open for the neck. if that doesn't help, let me know and i'll measure some baby clothes to check.
